The message:

We have a tendency to confuse the gospel. We tend to make it about works (as if we could do anything to earn His grace). But it’s the opposite of that. It’s a new covenant. Jesus did all the works and fulfilled every law for us. He bore our sins and sicknesses so we don’t have to. When we enter in to works we’re left feeling inadequate, empty, distant and frustrated with God instead of in love with Him. But the gospel is about love. It’s personal. He saw you as His kidnapped, lost child, stepped down from heaven and came after you!

This is His message for you:

      If you don’t love Me it’s because you don’t know Me. You can spend a lifetime studying to know all about Me but what you really need is to knowMe and be with Me – that’s what I died for is to be with you. I took all your sins past, present and future and cast them as far as the east is from the west until I remember them no more so that we can be together!

​        I forgive you. I’m pleased with you my child regardless what you do or don’t do. My unfailing love for you is unshakeable and deep. I rejoice and delight in you with singing! Neither height nor depth could separate you from My love.

       I want you to truly know me, intimately, starting now through eternity not beginning when you get to heaven. I want to really know you, tell me all your deepest secrets and shortcomings, faults, dreams and desires. I will never punish you or be angry with you – I bore that on the cross. I’ll never leave or forsake you. I’ll never make you feel guilty or ashamed.

      I will renew you, build you up, I’ll equip you and train you in the way you should go. I will give you the desire to accomplish all the wonderful things I created you to do and you’re going to love it! You’ll find such fulfillment in it. I want to spend time with you, I’ll always be waiting here in the secret place but I’ll never force or nag you.

      I will strengthen you and give you peace. I will give you love and great joy. I will speak to you things you never knew. I will deliver and protect you. I will sustain you in physical health and sound mind.

       All I want is for us to be together. Seek me with your whole heart and you will find Me. Then you will love Me and when you love Me you will delight in doing what I say. Don’t try doing it the other way around. You cannot earn my love – I give it freely.
